Ceiling Lights
|
Our Ceiling Lights are especially suited for use in living rooms around the home. When
lighting the home it is always a good idea to try to steer clear of using one central light
source where possible and used in conjunction with wall, table and floor lights to create
pools of light and give a more interesting effect. Downlights are becoming increasingly
popular for lighting living areas and kitchens as one of the great advantage of downlighters
is that they produce an even gentle, low shadow light. Down lights in this section are either
240v mains voltage or 12v low voltage, mains voltage fittings are easier to install as they
run straight from the mains giving normal light output where as low voltage fittings require
transformers to operate but have the benefit of reduced running costs and roughly giving 2-3
times the light output. A 12v 50w lamp is roughly the equivalent of 125w of standard light.
